Understanding what you enjoy

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors read, how they interact with stories and which links take them to Instagram. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information about your browser, device and website activity.

We measure story-link clicks, Instagram-link clicks, on-site video plays and clicks to open the newsletter form. We do not send newsletter email addresses, names or form field values to Google Analytics. Custom events omit URL query strings and fragments. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this site’s tag configuration.

Page-view and engagement totals help me decide which stories, guides and pictures to improve. Analytics can show a click to Instagram, but does not tell this website whether you then like, comment, follow or send a message there.

The newsletter

MailerLite manages newsletter signup, confirmation and unsubscribe. Clicking to open the form is measured separately from completing signup. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter.

Secret passport stamps

Unlocking the Octogoddess surprise saves a stamp and the date earned in this browser’s local storage. It stays on this device and browser and is removed when you clear site data. We measure activations and stamp awards in Google Analytics, without sending the saved date or personal details.

Your choices

You can manage cookies in your browser. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and MailerLite’s privacy policy.

Questions? Let’s talk.

Casino progress and optional leaderboard

The casino uses a random, HttpOnly cookie to link guest practice sessions and earned stamps to this browser. Signing in with ChatGPT links casino progress to an account so it can be used across devices. A chosen nickname and weekly score are public only when the player opts in. Emails and account names are not published on the leaderboard.

We store game, mode, completed rounds, browser-reported guide matches, timestamps, broad referral category, stamps, and server-scored weekly answers. We use aggregate totals to understand usage and learning. Cabin numbers, reservations, wager amounts, simulated balances and raw referring URLs are not collected by this feature. GA4 may also receive casino interaction events without nicknames, emails or account IDs.

Players can clear practice history and stamps, and remove their public nickname, from their casino passport. A minimal current-week attempt record remains to prevent repeat ranked attempts. Account linking remains; this control is not account deletion. Clearing the casino cookie disconnects a guest browser from its saved records. To request further removal, use the contact page.
