The Logbook · From my Virgin Voyages memories
Dublin, new friends and very questionable weather advice.

A day in Dublin reminded me how much of this adventure happens between the big moments. Meeting people. Having conversations. Seeing myself a little differently along the way.
On the tender ride back, I tried to offer some perspective to passengers who were focused on what had gone wrong. At least they were not at home shoveling snow, I suggested. They lived in Naples and were escaping the heat. So much for my wisdom.
The advice needed work. The feeling did not. Rain, shine, heat or cold, I want to keep finding the good in these days and the people I share them with.
What little encounter has stayed with you after a port day?
