My Virgin anniversary dinner came with a very good surprise: Pink Agave’s specials included both my favorite pumpkin soup and rice pudding.

Carly, Tyrone and Shelby were there for the celebration, and my friends got to find out why the announcement made me so happy. Carly took charge while Tyrone became her glamorous assistant. Dinner had its own cast.

My move

  1. Before deciding, ask your server what is on the specials menu that evening.
  2. If pumpkin soup or rice pudding is offered, those are two of my favorites to consider.
  3. Bring friends into the discovery. Their first bites can be half the fun.
